SCIENTOLOGY FOUNDER’S BIRTHDAY MARKS HISTORIC MILESTONE GUARANTEEING THE FUTURE FOR THE NEW GENERATION
MARCH 14, 2026
Scientologists gathered at the Church’s spiritual headquarters in Clearwater, Florida, honoring L. Ron Hubbard’s life and legacy and celebrating a new Golden Age with birthday gifts that will last forever.
On this Night for the Ages, there was never a quiet second.
From the instant the doors opened at Ruth Eckerd Hall, waves of energy and anticipation rippled through the audience of more than 5,000 Scientologists from 74 countries.
The evening revolved around gifts. A new Landmark Site, where L. Ron Hubbard (LRH) made monumental breakthroughs for the religion; a newly opened Ideal Org on a long-treasured island; and champions of the annual Birthday Game—all gifts to LRH met with ever-growing appreciation.
Even so, the announcement of one eternal gift rose above all, marking this night as forever historic and destined to shape the future of Scientology itself.
The evening began with a thunderous standing ovation greeting Mr. David Miscavige, the ecclesiastical leader of the Scientology religion, as he stepped to the stage and set the tone for what lay ahead.
“Tonight we celebrate Source, and what a night it will be,” Mr. Miscavige began. “Because there are nights in the life of a movement, and there are nights in the life of a civilization, when something in the air simply tells you: This will be a night to remember.”
And it most definitely was.
The evening’s first milestone carried the audience into LRH’s living legacy with the unveiling of a new LRH Landmark Site off the northwestern coast of Africa. After mapping training and auditing to the State of Clear, LRH departed his home at Saint Hill in England, arriving at Las Palmas in the Canary Islands in 1967.
Against this tranquil backdrop—perched on the cliffs above the Atlantic in the seaside community of La Estrella—LRH forged historic achievements and Scientology breakthroughs. He charted the path to advanced spiritual levels in Scientology. He created the Church’s religious order—the Sea Organization. And he commemorated those achievements in the famed recording “Ron’s Journal 1967,” revered by Scientologists the world over.
Today the storied villa has been meticulously restored exactly as it appeared during LRH’s time there. Inside, his personal artifacts now stand faithfully preserved, returned to their original locations—from the 16 mm motion picture camera he used to capture footage of the island, to the communication equipment he used while working from this Atlantic outpost. In another room stands the table and chair, overlooking the wide blue sea, where LRH recorded “Ron’s Journal 1967.” And outside, his 1967 Ford Country Squire gleams once more nearly 60 years later. Las Palmas is now one of 10 Landmark Sites worldwide, enabling Scientologists to follow the chronological path of LRH’s discoveries at the very locations where each breakthrough occurred.
From this legacy, the night ascended yet again into the latest chapter of fulfilling LRH’s greatest birthday wish: Expansion. At the heart of that expansion is the Golden Age of Administration and the most important executive training program in Scientology history. The impact of the program was on full display as a video presentation showcased the highly trained executives representing the first teams fired and their remarkable success implementing LRH’s Administrative Technology. With those monumental feats paving the way, Mr. Miscavige presented the 10 newest teams to graduate and return to their Ideal Orgs across North America, Europe and Australia.
What followed was a watershed event in its own right: the introduction of one final team of executives—from the newly christened Ideal Org of Puerto Rico in San Juan. LRH had long held a deep connection to Puerto Rico—having first traveled there in 1932—and affectionately called it “my dearest island.” On this night, his birthday audience leapt to their feet as vibrant highlights of the Church’s February Grand Opening played across the screens. A bold new Scientology presence now rises along the shores of the sparkling Caribbean Sea.
The evening’s momentum built steadily toward one of the most eagerly awaited pinnacles: the annual LRH Birthday Game—a global race among Scientology organizations to drive expansion. This high-spirited international contest spanned six continents and dozens of cities. It united Scientology Missions, Organizations, Advanced Organizations and Continental Liaison Offices in a race to fulfill LRH’s single wish: Expansion in the name of a Cleared Planet.
Those charging into the Winner’s Circle in this game of games were: the Ideal Scientology Mission of Bergamo, Italy; the Ideal Org of Copenhagen, Denmark; a repeat win for the Advanced Org of Los Angeles; and a victory for the Continental Liaison Office of Africa. Applause swept the hall for participants from every Continent, with hometown cheers rising whenever a winner was declared.
Then, with a sudden hush, Mr. Miscavige stilled the hall—if only for a heartbeat. What he introduced next will forever be remembered as a turning point in Scientology history, destined to shape generations, planting a flag for the future itself.
“And now we come to the culminating moment of this Birthday Event,” Mr. Miscavige said. “Because tonight marks the beginning of yet another Golden Age.” Having laid the foundation for Scientology’s Golden Ages of Knowledge, Technology and Administration, he turned to what remained as the next step forward. With that, he unveiled something unprecedented: Scientology Children’s Books presenting the basic principles of Scientology—fully illustrated—bringing each principle to life for the new generation.
This new library features two 10-volume sets: one for young Scientologists, ages 7 and up taking their first steps, and one for skilled readers of any age from 10 to 100. These volumes present fundamental Scientology principles addressing the mind, the spirit and Life—forming a complete library for Scientologists of all ages.
The instant Mr. Miscavige announced the groundbreaking release, the ovation shook the very foundation of the hall.
Taking the reveal even further, Mr. Miscavige announced that all 20 books are now available in 25 languages—representing more than 500 volumes and marking a sweeping global expansion for Scientology. He then revealed that each book is accompanied by a corresponding course, likewise available in 25 languages, forming a complete curriculum for the new generation. And then, in a final surge, came the full magnitude of the release: in all 79 Ideal Orgs around the world, fully equipped Children’s Course Rooms have been constructed—purpose-built and scaled for young Scientologists—unveiled in a dynamic video presentation revealing their presence across every continent.
The audience erupted in continued rapturous applause and emotion—deafening, jubilant and unrestrained—an occasion underscoring the magnitude of a milestone paving the way for the new generation. “Today’s children will become tomorrow’s civilization,” LRH wrote—now brought vividly to life here and now.
And with that, this historic evening drew to a close—a night every Scientologist will remember, a night where LRH’s legacy lives on and on.
“What you have just seen is more than a success story. It is the next chapter of LRH’s legacy,” Mr. Miscavige said in closing.
“Because tonight you did not simply witness the future of Scientology. You witnessed the moment it began.”
